The Flat Belly Diet is one of the more popluar fad diets that have come along in the last couple of years.  Many people looking to lose weight are always watching out for a magic bullet or lose weight fast type of diet.  These generally require a minimal amount of excersise and really appeal to many people.  The Flat Belly Diet promises to help you lose up to 15 pounds in just over one months time.  Even better it promises to do this by just changing your diet and eaten certain foods that it recommends.

What could be better, the flat belly diet helps you lose weight while you are eating.  Now this probably makes much more sense and probably helps explain why it is so appealing.  With the recent focus from people in the medical field on how bad belly fat is for ones healh, this has caused a kind of mad dash to diets promising to help people cut that belly fat.  The diet is a mediterranean type diet and asks its followers to stick to a 1600 calorie meal plan with foods they recommend.  (more…)

The Flat Belly Diet is a new diet that is taking the diet world by storm.  It is based on the premise that eating Monounsaturated Fatty Acids with every meal will help you to lose weight around your midsection.  Thus the Flat Belly Diet name was born.

It was created by the Editor in Chief of Prevention magazine along with the help of a nutrition editor for the magazine.  The great thing about the MUFA foods is that this diet claims to work just by eating 1 MUFA food at every meal.  These include avocado, sunflower oil, olive oil, seeds, nuts, and flax oil.  I suppose if you really think about it of course eating healthy will allow you to lose weight.  The diet also recommends eating fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and the amount of meat that is eaten.  (more…)
